I participated in the 2025 Edition of the Article Writing Competition jointly organized by the Intellectual Property Law & Technology Society (IPLTS) of National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) and The Dialogue, a technology policy think-tank.
Competition Focus:
The competition centered on examining intellectual property challenges in the digital age, with particular emphasis on emerging technologies and digital platforms. My submission explored the evolving landscape of copyright protection for user-generated content across social media platforms and the challenges of enforcing traditional IP rights in decentralized digital environments.
Research Components:
- Analysis of current copyright legislation and its application to digital content
- Examination of recent case law involving intellectual property disputes on social platforms
- Comparative study of IP protection frameworks across jurisdictions
- Evaluation of potential legal and policy reforms to address digital-age IP challenges
This competition provided an opportunity to delve deeply into specialized intellectual property issues while developing critical legal research and writing skills. The experience reinforced my interest in the intersection of technology and intellectual property law.
